Initial Homecare Services is committed to providing professional and exceptional residential care to support intellectually disabled individuals in the greater Roanoke and Lynchburg, VA areas. It is our objective to provide support that enhances each client’s quality of life and positions them for self sufficiency and freedom in everyday life. Our dedicated team accurately constructs a care plan for each individual based on their individual needs and establishes an environment that is safe, functional and non-restrictive.

The compassionate team at Initial Homecare Services respects the dignity of the clients we serve, and promises to respect their privacy and individual rights. All of our services are HIPAA compliant. At our physical location in Lynchburg, VA, we support individuals with a variety of living arrangements conducive to their needs and promoting social interaction with peers and caregivers alike. Initial Homecare Services also provides supervision tailored to individual’s daily living requirements and provides behavioral support and encourages active participation in the community.

COMPLAINTS AND COMPLIANT RESOLUTION

Initial Homecare Services, LLC (IHCS) endeavors to be responsive to individuals, visitors, and service providers and to address any concerns or complaints they may have quickly and fairly. IHCS recognizes an individual’s right to make a complaint about the conduct of IHCS operations, services, staff, or service provider, where that individual interests appear to have been adversely affected. The purpose of this Compliant Resolution is to protect the individual and their rights, including the right to comment and complain; provide an efficient and fair process for resolving individual complaint; and to monitor complaints in an effort to improve the quality of operations and services IHCS provides. This policy will provide IHCS an opportunity to improve service and satisfaction to dissatisfied individuals, service providers and visitors; ensure a consistent method of management; monitoring and reporting of complaints; and identify areas that need improvement.

If the complaint is against a IHCS staff, that staff will not be able to work with the individual, visitor and/or service provider until the issue is resolved. If necessary and if the complaint warrants it, mes may need to review the complaint under its Human Rights Regulation for Individuals Receiving Services.
